Asides from drones, the war in Ukraine is one that is being won by those who can master the production of explosives. One of the biggest complaints by Ukrainian soldiers past months has been the destructive power of Russian glide bombs, which turn the most fortified defense lines into rubble.

On June 9, an AFU spokesman declared Ukraine would produce its own glide bombs to counter Russian models. Chief of Aviation of the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Serhii Golubtsiv stated the following in his interview with Radio Svoboda (the local RFE):
