O9A in the USA
The Minneapolis shooting, Nihilist Violent Extremism, Terrorgram, the Maniacs: Murder Cult and... Charlie Kirk?

An endless barrage of baffling shootings. And quite a few of them have been linked to an odd network I’ve written about quite a bit here - the rightwing accelerationist, satanist neo-nazi Order of the Nine Angles (O9A), whose modern offshoots are fixated on convincing excessively online youth to commit violent acts. The stated claim - overturn society and instate a galactic ‘Imperium’ to colonize Mars and maximize the size of one’s underage harem.
Lofty goals, and perhaps they think they’re getting closer. The January 2025 Nashville, Tennessee school shooting. The August 2025 Minneapolis church shooting. The September 10 Colorado school shooting suspect apparently ‘radicalized online’. The list goes on.
The wikipedia page on terrorist acts involving O9A-inspired individuals is rather voluminous. Incidents started kicking off in 2020, but 2024 and 2025 seem to have featured a new O9A-related killing every other week somewhere in the world.
And according to legendary podcaster Kashyap Patel just three days ago, 2025 has seen the FBI investigate 300% more crimes involving O9A-influenced ‘Nihilist Violent Extremists’ than before. More on Mr Patel later today.
I’ve already put out six articles on the O9A neo-nazi fighting for Ukrainian military intelligence in the ‘Russian Volunteer Corps’, the links between the O9A and western intelligence services, the bizarre March 2025 attempted assassination of Mr Donald Trump by an O9A-influenced chud with Russian-speaking friends living in Ukraine, and quite a bit more besides that. But let me just reiterate four key facts.
First. A 2021 US court case into an attempted O9A terrorist attack on an overseas military base (intended to drag the US into a new war in the middle east) found that the most extremist and influential O9A publisher, Martinet Press, has been headed by an FBI informant the past 20 years. This informant, Joshua Sutter, received over $140,000 over the past decades to propagandize mass murder and child abuse in books like ‘Iron Gates’.
Second. In 2013, Martinet Press published its first Russian-language novel - Kiss of Marena - Temple of the Black Sun. The novel, written by an O9A cell in Russia, describes a mystical national socialist cult of murder for its own sake. All the characters are youths in an unnamed Russian city.
Kirill Kanakhin, a failed Russian actor turned mystical neo-nazi warrior, has stated that he belonged to this O9A cell for several years - ‘it formed my main social circle’. He has posted photos of the remote Kola peninsula featured in the novel, a location where Russian law enforcement found ritually murdered human remains.
Kanakhin has also written poems calling for children to rise up against the corrupt adults world by committing acts of violence. Since 2014, Kanakhin has been in Ukraine, hanging out with the Azov movement. In 2023, Kanakhin became one of the leaders of the Russian Volunteer Corps, a military unit under control of Ukraine’s Military Intelligence Directorate (HUR).
Besides failed incursions into Russia, the RDK constantly calls for its tens of thousands of Russian followers to commit acts of violence against symbols of the state. During their 2023 attacks on southern Russia, the leader of the RDK called on Russian neo-nazis to rise up, writing to telegram ‘well now couch potatoes, the rahowa has begun’. The racial holy war is the apocalyptic breakdown of the (Jewish-controlled) state which modern neo-nazis believe can be reached through acts of destabilizing violence.
Third. The number of school shootings has risen dramatically in Russia since 2021. The shooters have invariably been nihilistic neo-nazis. Rumors also exist that they were radicalized online. There have also been a number of arrests of of ‘lone wolves’ committing child sex crimes and various terrorist acts who declare their inspiration from O9A ideology (and related groups in Ukraine).
Fourth. Intelligence services in the Russo-Ukrainian war extensively use children as dispensable agents in covert operations. The NYT even recently wrote about it in an article titled the War in Ukraine has a shocking new weapon. In it, the author described how spooks use sexual blackmail - nude photos and the like - to force children in the ‘enemy country’ to do things like attack military enlistment offices. Not that the O9A invented such methods, but as we will see today, this is strikingly similar to the O9A obsession with manipulating children, also often through sexual blackmail, into committing terrorist acts.
Now that the summary is done, onto something new. There are two recent O9A-related events I wanted to talk about before they get memory-holed by the violently accelerating pace of global news.
First, what the Minneapolis shooting has to do with the O9A, Terrorgram and Ukraine’s O9A-inspired Maniacs: Cult of Murder (MKU) group. This also leads me onto some reflection on the actual nature of the connection between state intelligence services, O9A propagandists, and the unwell youths caught up in all this.
Second, my opinion on the Trump administration’s new term ‘Nihilist Violent Extremism’ (NVE), whether all these freaks fit onto the right-left spectrum (spoiler: yes), and whether we are truly in the grips of a trans violence epidemic (spoiler: become a paid subscriber). I’ll also put myself in the shoes of a nefarious deep state operator for some final speculation on the utility of nihilist violent extremists in the current American political conjuncture.
Minneapolis
So, August 27 of this year, the Minneapolis Annunciation Church, where two children were killed and over a dozen injured. The shooter, Robin Westman, has been linked by many to the O9A.
However, not everyone is convinced. The Empire Never Ended podcast, probably the best historians of the O9A, are doubtful about this connection. They point out that Westman’s output didn’t feature any of the telltale symbols or slogans of the O9A. That’s quite true. But I have my own thoughts on the real nature of Westman’s connection to all this.
