So far, I’ve covered how the neo-nazi military unit “Russian Volunteer Corps” (RDK) was created and curated by Ukraine’s most western-affiliated intelligence service, the Main Directorate of Intelligence (GUR). I described how the RDK is led by the most extreme Russian neo-nazis imaginable, Alexey Levkin and Denis Nikitin/Kapustin. I speculated about how their networks of radicalized, violent neo-nazis in Russia could be quite useful for the GUR’s ambitious covert operations on Russian soil. Today, we will be looking at just these operations.

First, we will look at various reports in Russian media of young people convinced by RDK social media to commit violent acts against the government. Given the fact that, as I wrote in yesterday’s article, the RDK itself commonly posts videos of the violent anti-government actions its followers commit, this isn’t hard to believe.

Next, we’ll move onto something more speculative - the spate of school shootings in Russia, and the RDK-reminiscent ideology the shooters adhered to. We’ll also analyze remarks made by the father of Russia’s first female school shooter that his daughter had been driven mad by extremists on telegram.

Our final destination will be the Ukrainian-based group Maniacs: Cult of Killers (MKU). This group’s stated aim is to propagandize young people into acts of violence against other children, law enforcement, the homeless, and migrants. Its leader has been in Ukrainian police custody since 2020, yet the MKU seems as strong as ever. MKU, whose leader and followers often wear RDK merch, might be the key link between Ukrainian intelligence services and recent ‘Columbine events’ in Russia. We will also look at the MKU’s links with the 764 network, which manipulates young people in the west into committing acts of extreme violence against themselves and others.

I’ll close by summarizing the facts of these past three articles on the RDK, and offer some interpretations. We’ll also see how exactly Ukrainian scam call centres and the MKULTRA-style operations they seem to pull off are relevant. Methamphetamine is also involved.
